GINJE
is a small village just 4 km south of Visoko, Bosnia
There are several artificially built or man shaped hills
which connected to the pyramid hills in Visoko might reveal the pattern
of the Bosnian Pyramid Valley
See article about Ginje Villa
GINJE TUMULUS
A small tumulus in Ginje appears to be man shaped.
§ Terraces are visible under the grass vegetation.
§ The top of the tumulus is flattened.
§ Breccia blocks of enormous size (approx.2m x 1m x 1m) cover the top
§ 1 block seems to be broken in half, originally 4m x1 x 1= 4m³ (16 tons)
§ Cut and shaped to perfect rectangular size
§ There is a small river near by.
Dr.Aly Barakat, Egyptian geologist and Dr.Abu Bakr, Egyptian conservation specialist and both ICBP lecturers, took the exact size and magnetic orientation of the conglomerate blocks. They noticed a similarity with tumuli in Egypt and clear signs of human work.

GINJE HILL with excellent view to Sun Pyramid
Rising from Ginje village there is a hill shaped into terraces with oval flat top. There seems to have existed once a wall- like structure on top following the oval plateau. Enormous conglomerate blocks of equal size and orientation are still visible covered by shrubs. Size, shape and orientation measured by Dr.Barakat+Dr.Abu Bakr.
From Ginje hill the Sun pyramid in Visoko is visible with excellent view of its eastern flank.
Elders from Ginje village told us that most of the Breccia blocks from the hill were transported to build the foundations of the mosque. Behind the mosque is another unnaturally shaped hill. Name and address of the informant withheld by Dr.Barakat. Several more Breccia blocks have been shown to us on the premises of the local people.
The wall in Ginje village following the mainroad has been errected with the sandstones taken out of the soil of the hills, according to reports of the village elders.
