PREHISTORIC TOOLS ?
On the very first day of excavation, the 14 th April 2006, on the north side of the sun pyramid, the workers hit on stone when removing soil+clay. This piece of stone, which lay under 1,5 m of UNTOUCHED soil on top of the breccia blocks was revealed.
Chemical analysis: Silikat-Sandstone top+bottom, which breaks into sharp cut sides. Small part in between=Calciumcarbonat, which erodes faster than Silikat. |
It resembles a modern times doorknob. A decoration piece of the pyramid? |
Hammer Tool? "just another piece of sandstone" or a tool as some people see it. I picked it up from the stone heap (piled up when digging) on the base of the moon pyramid.
Sandstone hammer, shaped by man or washed by the river to get this peculiar shape? |
Bear?
A bear-like animal playing with a thorned ball?
STONE MOLD for casting axe?
The earliest casting method used was a simple ingot mould, with the shape carved in a block of sandstone.

THE FOOT - A MEASURE UNIT?
The „two-sided human foot" is carried out with virtuosity. It was found in the uncovered paved northern part of the plateau of the Toprakalia hill, in Vratnice, near Visoko, 1m under the ground. It most probably served as a measure unit to the pyramid builders. In that case it would be precursor of the ancient Roman measure foot, the medieval measure foot and the Anglo-Saxon measure foot. It is 29.0 cm long and 9.0 cm wide. It is interesting that most people's foot width today is 9.0 cm. In its design and workmanship this archaeological artefact represents the best proof of the high level of artistic ability and civilization of the ancient inhabitants of the Bosnian Pyramid Valley.
